New music! Raaahhh!!

I love Cubase SX 3. It is a gift from the gods.

I also love SFZ and my enormous soundfont library, which are also both aiding me in my improvement of my compositions. :p (Joking)

Wooo, long time no post...

I got Cubase working! Wooo! And my writer's block is finally gone! So I'll be updating this quite a lot, partly to stick up new recordings of the (very few) good songs that are on here, and partly with new material that deserves to be heard by the world.

Am starting my degree in a month's time. Should be fun; I'll have access to over 60 studios (all w/ digital Mackie consoles, squeeee!) so I'm going to spend all my time there from the moment I move within cycling distance of the place. :p (Joking)

Am working on a short orchestral piece at the moment which is meant to be a main theme for a fantasy game, as well as one which will hopefully fit a futuristic sci-fi theme, and one which should fit seamlessly into the original Diablo OST. All will be up here once they're finished.

So, love ye leave ye et al.

I've been ill for a month and a half. It sucks.

I feel like I have SARS.

I will kill Bill Gates if I ever meet him.

His crappy operating system just crashed before I could save a composition.

Blargh.

Uck... Sleeping for 19 hours is not good for teh boday... :? (Confused)

I'm in the process of practicing a Piano arrangement of Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony, which I'll record once it's acceptable and upload to here, yay! Although, this all centres on me being able to get my dear sweet Laptop working again with the high-quality software and recording quality I demand from it (Damn Small Linux, Audacity, and Rosegarden, I love thee), so yeah, more moozik for yuo! Yay! :D (Big Grin)

...Damn, I'm such a geek... :? (Confused)

Exam results:

Music: C
Chemistry: D
Biology: C
Computing: A

Bah at C in Music. No fair. That exam paper has nothing to do with your ability, it's all about how Brahms uses crap in his music, which is stupid. Blah.
